Welcome to Pueblo!
The city of Pueblo offers a diverse selection of activities and attractions, making it a favored Southeast Colorado destination. The Pike and San Isabel National Forests surround Pueblo and provide space for hiking, biking, camping and more. Rafting is another popular local activity, with several companies in the area taking guests either through white water or on a scenic float down the Arkansas River. Lake Pueblo State Park provides over 60 mi (97 km) of shoreline and is an enjoyable venue for swimming, boating, fishing and more. As the highest suspension bridge in the world, the nearby Royal Gorge Bridge offers visitors spectacular views in addition to an aerial tram, an incline railway and more. Auto racing fans know this area for Pikes Peak International Raceway, a track located north of Pueblo near Fountain used for Nascar competitions and Superbike races from June through September.
